• Dominican Family Informational Meeting
  Wednesday, Jan 16 -- 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
  Location: Dominican Sisters Meeting Room
  Following wine and snacks, the evening will include a short presentation by Sr. Carol on St. Dominic, the formation of the Dominican Family and our mission of walking side-by-side with the Dominican Sisters of Houston. Bring those you have invited to learn more about joining Dominican Family!
   
• Annual Dominican Family Retreat
  Friday, Feb 1 - Saturday, Feb 2
  Location: Dominican Sisters Meeting Room
  Our 3rd annual Dominican Family Retreat is just around the corner. There’s no better way to begin the New Year than by giving yourself the gift of time and reflection. The retreat will begin Friday evening and continue with a full day on Saturday. Like last year, there is an option to choose staying on campus at the Spirituality Center or commuting. The price is $40.00 for those staying over night on campus and $20.00 for those commuting. The retreat theme is COMPASSION IN ACTION presented by Sr. Lois Didean. Hopefully Jim & Georgia Skopal will fix their famous pancakes and bacon on Saturday morning! You will be able to register for the retreat during the DF Gathering this Monday, January 14th or call Gloria Vocelka at 832-489-0673.
  
  Sr. Lois Dideon, rc has her Masters in Theology and in Pastoral Counseling. She is a certified Gestalt Therapist Training in Jungian psychotherapy in Boston, Pittsburgh and Houston. As a Cenacle sister for more than 50 years, she loves spiritual direction, directing retreats and facilitating other’s searching and finding our Good & Loving God and experiencing their own soul via group retreats and workshops.

Book Discussion in the Spring
