Hello,
fellow Dominican Family members,
I hope
everyone has been safe and avoiding the Omicron surge the last few
weeks! It seems God is still busy testing our resolve with this
pandemic, and as much as we feel the need to gather next week on
February 7th, I think we need to be patient one more month so we can
gather SAFELY and freely in March.
The Motherhouse is still in lockdown, and although they hope to
be lifting that soon, February 7th is just a little too early for us to
meet, so we will plan for an amazing gathering next month on March 7th.
Friends, we must keep the faith and remain strong in our
Dominican beliefs. We have wonderful ACTIVE committees meeting via
zoom, so please consider trying those out. Shawna and Calista have done
fabulous work with the Poverty and Racial Justice committees. Anna
Sklut has started the Liturgy Committee as well - there will come a
time REAL SOON when we will see their work putting together our special
gatherings.
Words can't express how anxious we are to meet again in person,
our two gatherings last fall had great turnouts, and we know we will do
it again REAL SOON!
IF you want to check out the committees and get involved there,
here are your contacts to reach out and get the latest meeting times.
