Hello again everyone,
I first want to thank everyone who
came out to the Commitment Mass at St. Theresa this past Sunday. We had
a fantastic turnout of somewhere around 65-70 people for mass, and the
ceremony was wonderful. Based on the number of people who had a
quick drink and grabbed a cookie after mass, I think we all
missed seeing each other in person and the bond to connect again was
great.
As I mentioned at mass, we were
scheduled to have a Gathering this coming Monday, October 4. However,
we are CANCELING it out of a bit of caution for COVID and the fact we
had such a great turnout last Sunday. Our next Gathering will be on
November 8 in the Gathering Room at Almeda
The Racial Justice Committee will
present at the November 8 Gathering, and
they are planning a great and insightful evening. Please remember
we will start with social time at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting
begins at 6:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss the program
presented by this hard-working committee as they tackle the
important topic of racial injustice and racism in our society.
Committee Information If you are not on either one of these
committees, you should check out the work they are doing, helping in
the community, and educating others about the systemic problems we
cannot turn our back to any longer.
