Dominican
Family compiled the following Thanksgiving Blessings for our community
to share this week. If you are offering grace for your family dinner,
leading a blessing during a "zoom toast" with relatives, or
taking a moment of personal prayer, we hope these resources are
helpful. Though our Thanksgiving celebrations may look different this
year, as a Dominican Family, we celebrate gratitude and the Dominican
pillar of prayer together:
- A Thanksgiving Prayer in Time of Pandemic, offered to the Give Us This Day community; submitted
to the Dominican Family by Sandra Derby.
- Prayer of
Thanksgiving & Strength (attached),
offered to the Canadian Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School
Board, submitted to the Dominican Family by Sarah-Margaret
Doran.
- Thanksgiving
Benediction (attached),
offered to the Ecclesia Houston community on Sunday, November 22,
2020, submitted to the Dominican Family by Anna Sklut.
