The Angela
House Book Club will meet Saturday, November 2nd, 10AM
at Angela House. We are reading the second half of “My Sister's
Keeper” by Jodi Picoult. Sharon Copper will lead this discussion.
I hope many of you will join us.
We will also discuss and start planning the Angela House Baking Event
for December 7. I think this is the 4th annual Christmas Baking

Family Meeting - Monday, November
4th – Interfaith
Prayer Service and discussion: A time of prayer and understanding. Gather at
6:00, meeting begins at 6:30.
Abby will be out of town November 5 for the monthly gathering. Please
consider signing up for helping with hospitality. Volunteers
are needed with set up, snacks, clean up, etc. Scroll down within

Poverty Committee Book Study: 2 Options to attend - Nov. 9th or
12th, 10 am, in the Small meeting room off the large
room where we have our large family gatherings. Feel free to
attend one session (or both) even if you have not read the book!
We are reading and discussing “Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a
Mothers Will to Survive” by Stephanie Land (available on
Amazon).

Dominican Family Work Day - Our Dominican Family Gardening Day
2 is set for Saturday, November 16th, at the Dominican Sisters' Villa.
Volunteers are needed to work in two garden beds. Jim
Skopal is the coordinater of the activity. If you can attend,
