The Dominican Family September Potluck gathering had all of
the essential pieces of a wonderful family gathering: great food,
meaningful conversation, laughter, prayer and community. Thanks to all who
were present and to those who contributed to a lovely meal!
The theme for
2019-2020 is “Open Hearts, Willing Hands.” This year’s meetings promise to be engaging
and meaningful, including: a presentation from InterFaith Ministries of
Greater Houston, an Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service, a closer look
at the Refugee Crisis, an opportunity to consider Climate Change, and
another look at the Church Scandal including the coverup and clericalism.
Please note that meetings will be moved up 30 minutes earlier than last year, so that we will
have our social gathering at 6pm, and the meeting will be from 6:30-8 p.m. this year.

your service activities. We will be creating an activism/service database, so
please consider logging your service activities. And while you are on
