Dominican Family is proud to be on the Multi-Faith Council of InterFaith Ministries, as we work to accomplish mutual goals of dialogue, collaboration and service. Dominican Family members are welcome to participate in InterFaith Ministries initiatives.
Here are just some of the many ways that InterFaith Ministries works in the community:
- InterFaith Ministries hosts Dinner Dialogues, to unite people of all faiths and backgrounds in conversation about faith, religion, civility, respect and more.
- Faith in Our City spotlights a different faith tradition each month, first with a Lunch and Learn, and then with a tour of a house of worship.
- Volunteer Houston provides a multitude of volunteer opportunities, including Meals on Wheels. The program connects volunteers and their interests with non-profits and their needs.
