Families Belong Together March

WHEN:  2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28
WHERE: Starts at Settegast Park (3000 Garrow Street, Houston TX 77003) then march to 419 Emancipation Avenue and back to the Park
WHAT:  Join in protesting family separation at the border and demanding reunification of children with their parents. There will be speakers in addition to prayers from clergy members. More information here

Multi-Faith Prayer Vigil

WHEN: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26
WHERE: Outside of 419 Emancipation Avenue, Houston TX
WHAT: One hour prayer service
WHO: Members of various faith traditions. The following faith leaders have confirmed as of time of release: Sister Ceil Roeger, OP, Dominican Sisters; Rabbi Gideon Estes; Amina Ishaq, Maryam Islamic Center; Rev. Lynette Ross and Rev. MJ Gallop, First Congregational Church, Rev. Lisa Hunt, St. Stephen’s Episcopal and Rev. Simo’n Bautista, Christ Episcopal Cathedral.
