The January Gathering’s program about
racism and being an anti-racist was led by Calista Herbert, coordinator
for the Racial Justice Committee. Guest speaker and facilitator Lucy
McLaughlin, former co-director of the Center for Healing of Racism,
provided definitions, explanations, and thought-provoking descriptions
of racism and prejudice. Table talk provided ample time for lively
discussions and honest reflection about the topic.
If you are interested in more
information about Racial Justice, consider attending the committee
meetings held on the third Tuesday of the month via Zoom.
