Dear Family and Formation members,
Please join the Dominicans on Sunday,
May 15 at 2:00 p.m. for our Spring Commitment Ceremony.
Gratefully, we will be able to gather in the Spiritual Center at
the Motherhouse, 6501 Almeda Road. If you were not able to join
us for the Fall Commitment Ceremony, this is your opportunity to make
your annual profession of living as a Dominican in our community.
To appropriately plan for the ceremony and reception, please RSVP using the email that was sent.
The
Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is looking for community input as they
prepare a report to the Synod of Bishops. The organizational theme for
this Synod is “For A Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and
Mission.” As the Synod’s preparatory document states, “Pope Francis
invited the entire Church to reflect on a theme that is decisive for
its life and mission: ‘It is precisely this path of synodality (which
God expects of the Church in the third millennium.’” Please time some
time to complete the survey by clicking on the link below.
